How to use

Wet thoroughly before first use; the sponge expands to full thickness. Wring out and stand it up to air-dry between uses. Swap in a fresh one every 3–5 days.

Common questions

Should I buy cellulose or loofah?
If you're mostly wiping counters, glassware, and finished surfaces, start here. If you're scrubbing pans, cast iron, and sinks, get the loofah. Plenty of people keep one of each at the sink.

Is it safe on non-stick and delicate surfaces?
Yes — cellulose is the gentler of our two materials. Safe on non-stick cookware, glass, and painted or finished surfaces.

How long does one sponge last?
Three to five days with normal use, longer if you wring it out and stand it up to dry. Fifteen covers roughly two months.

They arrive flat — is that right?
Yes. Cellulose ships compressed so the box fits in a drawer. Wet it thoroughly and it expands to full thickness in seconds.

How do I compost it?
Drop it in your home compost bin or a garden bed. It's plant fiber, so it breaks down and returns to soil.

Does it hold odor?
Less than foam, but cellulose is more absorbent than loofah, so wringing it out fully and letting it dry between uses matters more here.
