Natural XL Loofah Scrub Sponge — 15 Pack
The easiest way to try Scrub & Throw. Fifteen XL loofah sponges — the oversized cut, in a starter-sized box.
Most people are skeptical that a plant can outperform the plastic sponge under their sink. Fifteen is enough to find out — roughly two months of regular swaps — without committing to a bulk box.
Why these are different
- USDA Certified Biobased. Independently lab-verified — 98% biobased content in the loofah, 100% in the packaging. A federal certification, not a marketing claim.
- 100% plant-based. Real loofah gourd, grown and dried. No polyurethane foam, no synthetic mesh, no resin.
- No microplastics. Conventional sponges shed plastic fibers down your drain with every wash. These shed plant fiber.
- Home compostable. Toss it in the compost bin or a garden bed. It goes back to soil.
- Plastic-free packaging. Recyclable cardboard. No poly bag, no shrink wrap.
What you get
- 15 XL natural loofah scrub sponges
- Oversized cut — more surface, better grip on large cookware
- Recyclable cardboard box
How to use
Run under warm water for a few seconds. The loofah softens and expands as it absorbs. Scrub, rinse, and stand it up to air-dry. Swap in a fresh one every 3–5 days — or the moment it stops feeling clean.
Safe on glass, stainless, ceramic, and sealed cookware. Rinses clean without holding onto odor.

Common questions
Is fifteen really enough to tell?
Yes. At a swap every 3–5 days that's about two months of daily kitchen use — long past the point where a plastic sponge would have started to smell.
Will it scratch my non-stick pans?
No. Loofah is naturally non-scratch and both sides are safe on glass, stainless, ceramic, and sealed or coated cookware.
Do I have to throw it away after one use?
Not at all. The name is about freedom, not rules. Use one for a day, a week, or until it wears out — the low per-sponge cost just means you're never stuck holding onto a sponge that's gone off.
How do I compost it?
Drop it in your home compost bin or bury it in a garden bed. It's plant fiber, so it breaks down and returns to soil. No industrial facility required.
They arrive flat — is that right?
Yes. The sponges are compressed so the whole box fits in a drawer. Run one under warm water and it expands to full size in seconds.
Does it hold odor?
Far less than foam. Loofah's open structure rinses clean and dries quickly, which is what keeps bacteria from settling in.
Already convinced? The 30-pack drops the cost per sponge by about a third.
