Natural XL Loofah Scrub Sponge — 30 Pack

More sponge, more scrub, same throwaway freedom. Thirty XL loofah sponges — noticeably bigger in the hand, about 83¢ each.

The XL is for people who cook seriously. Bigger surface area means fewer passes on a roasting pan, and enough body to grip a cast iron skillet without folding. If you've ever wished a sponge were just a little more substantial, this is that sponge.

Good to know before you buy

• More surface, still a natural fiber — not a synthetic scouring pad. The XL cut handles bigger cookware with fewer passes, but baked-on or crusted food still needs a quick soak first.
• Compact dry, full-size wet. It ships flat and compressed — run it under warm water for a few seconds and it expands to noticeably bigger than our standard cut.
• Wrings out fast, holds less water than foam. Keep a towel nearby for bigger spills.

Why these are different

• USDA Certified Biobased. Independently verified by the USDA BioPreferred Program — a federal certification, not a marketing claim.
• 100% plant-based. Real loofah gourd, grown and dried. No polyurethane foam, no synthetic mesh, no resin.
• No microplastics. Conventional sponges shed plastic fibers down your drain with every wash. These shed plant fiber.
• Compostable. 100% plant fiber, so it can go to compost instead of the landfill.
• Plastic-free packaging. Recyclable cardboard. No poly bag, no shrink wrap.

What you get

• 30 XL natural loofah scrub sponges
• Oversized cut — more surface, better grip on large cookware
• Recyclable cardboard box

How to use

Run under warm water for a few seconds. The loofah softens and expands as it absorbs. Scrub, rinse, and stand it up to air-dry. Swap in a new one whenever you like.

Safe on glass, stainless, ceramic, and sealed cookware.

Common questions

How much bigger is the XL, really?
Noticeably. It fills the hand rather than sitting in your palm, which is the difference between two passes on a sheet pan and four. If you mostly wash mugs and glassware, the standard 30-Pack is the better buy.

How much scrubbing power does it really have?
Plenty for daily dishes and larger cookware, but it's a natural fiber, not a synthetic scouring pad — it won't cut through baked-on or crusted food without a quick soak first. Think everyday dishes, not "attack the roasting pan."

Will it scratch my non-stick pans?
No. Loofah is naturally non-scratch and both sides are safe on glass, stainless, ceramic, and sealed or coated cookware.

When should I swap it out?
Whenever you like. Rinse it well and stand it up to dry between uses.

Do I have to throw it away after one use?
Not at all. The name is about freedom, not rules. Use each one for as long as you like — the low per-sponge cost just means swapping in a new one never feels wasteful.

Is it compostable?
Yes. It's 100% plant-based loofah fiber, so it's compostable and biodegradable. Follow your local composting guidelines.

They arrive flat — is that right?
Yes. The sponges are compressed so a box of thirty fits in a drawer. Run one under warm water and it expands to full size in seconds.

Not sure which size? Compare all four everyday packs side by side.
